Uganda Hosts First Ever Eastern Africa Training for NUSF Executives
Association of Uganda University Sports (AUUS), with the support of FISU and FASU, organized training for National University Sports Federation (NUSF) executives with the theme “An updated sports manager” attracting participants from seven countries.
The two-day symposium was held at Imperial Royal Hotel in Kampala, Uganda with the aim of equipping NUSF executives, student leaders and sports department heads with the ability to be updated sports managers in an ever changing world.
While addressing the participants, FASU President Ms. Nomsa Mahlangu urged those in attendance to organize and streamline management and governance structures. Branding (rebranding in particular) and keeping up with the current trends was the most interactive session, favorably competing for attention with communication.
Also in attendance was the East Africa university Sports Federation president, Mr. Cyriaco Kabagambe.
